The Abilitator Model

The Abilitator produces data on functioning, gathered on individual, group and organizational levels. Individual-level data enables the analysis of the client’s current level of functioning, the setting of individual goals and agreeing on actions to reach these goals. Individual-level data also reveal any changes that occur in work ability and functioning.

The Abilitator also enables the examination of group-level client profiles, by combining the individual-level data. These data help steer services and activities. This is also useful in the evaluation of the outcomes of activities. Combining group-level data on functioning produces organizational-level data, which are valuable in decision-making.

Currently, only those using the Finnish version of the Abilitator can obtain reports on changes at the individual- and group-level.
